Wilmington, Mass. and Philadelphia – Lighting leader LEDVANCE is expanding its portfolio of SYLVANIA ULTRA LED™ RT8 recessed downlight kits with the 8000 lumen version being unveiled at Booth 1701 at LIGHTFAIR® International (LFI®).  The universal input voltage, integrated driver 8” compatible solution is ideal for delivering high performing light from high ceilings in new construction and retrofit applications due to it being UL1598 Listed and Classified.  In addition, the long 50,000 hour (L70) rated life means it lasts up to 3 times longer than CFL pin base lamps that need to be replaced more often in hard-to-reach ceilings.  The light output of the 0-10V dimmable LED downlight kit is comparable to traditional 150W high pressure sodium or 175W metal halide lamps, but uses only 92 watts which saves up to $450*.  It is available in three color temperatures (3000K, 3500K and 4000K) and has a variety of trim kit options to change the appearance based on application spaces.  In North America, LEDVANCE offers professional users and retail customers SYLVANIA advanced LED bulbs, standardized luminaires and smart lighting solutions, as well as traditional light sources.

The SYLVANIA ULTRA LED RT8 portfolio provides excellent color rendering (up to 90 CRI) and a wide selection of color temperatures (3000K, 3500K, 4000K and 5000K).  The optical design is also noteworthy as it efficiently directs light output in an 80° beam angle with low glare.  Suitable for dry, damp and wet locations, the portfolio is ENERGY STAR® Rated and RoHS compliant, has 120/277V and 347V input voltage versions, contains no mercury and emits no UV or IR radiation.  Unlike traditional alternatives, SYLVANIA ULTRA RT8 recessed downlight kits also need no warm-up time because they are instant on with full light output and stable color.
